Finallly....

So after procrastinating for over a month now I have decided to sit my ass down and actually write something in here. I started writing a blog a few weeks ago..a super blog but I wasn't quite done with it so I saved it....well at least I thought I did till I came back to it a few days later and all was lost. ARG! I think that is one of the reason I have put off writing something as I was so annoyed that my epic blog has been sucked into oblivion! Also sitting here writing a blog cuts into my sl time * shock horror* and that just wont do. I have indeed become a full blown addict of the game although I am sure there are worse out there. You know how I know I am indeed a SL addict? I actually find myself saying out loud in RL .. /me or LOL. That my friend is how I know! I do occasionally sleep although in recent months I have found that I can survive and function on barely anything at all. Not all entirely sure that is a good thing it just means logging off becomes harder. People who aren't in SL don't seem to get why its so good. Its like explaining geometry to a 5 year old. The look of bewilderment on their faces always cracks me up and the " But its not real!" line comes into play. Which of course is right it isn't real..it is a game at the end of the day but it certain aspects of the game are most certainly real. The whole social interaction with someone is definitely real. Assuming the person on the other side of the computer is being honest you can indeed make friends and for some people something way beyond just a simple friendship. Yes of course I always hear the same old " It could be a murderer behind the screen!!" and yeah of course it could be but so could your neighbor. For some reason people associate the net with a place killers hang out! When in fact I would bet any money the average user is like you or me and well that whole argument is just ridiculous. If someone is gonna lie they are gonna lie Internet or not. I have to admit there's something amazing about talking to someone from the States one minute and then 5 mins later talking to someone from France and the funny thing is on a whole people in SL get along and are extremely helpful to one another.Well besides the odd moron who takes it upon themselves to crown themselves "Ass of the day" but that is a whole other blog in itself! It is in fact extraordinary how small the SL world is in all honesty. With something like over 6 million users and yet I come across people from my RL area all the time not to mention the familiar avatars that you come across on a daily basis but that might have to do with where I hang out. The welcome area it is called or as known in world as the place you where you are " born"! Me personally cant bring myself to use that phrase! I find it incredibly lame to ask someone if they were just "born"..it sounds almost religious I mean Sl great for meeting people, being creative etc its anything from spiritual. Almost every church I have been to in SL has had some kind of sex balls thrown in the corner. Sex balls I hear you say.....yes your avatar can do the deed in the virtual world. It is known as what we older avatars like to call " Slexing" I am not sure who coined the phrase but it rolls off the tongue brilliantly ....sllllleeeeexxx. I know you are probably thinking how you could possibly have sex in the virtual domain but trust me you can and you can do it in almost every position. In fact I am sure there are some that a normal human couldn't possibly do. I will refrain from going into detail as I am unsure how pg my blog has to be ha ha I don't want my first blog to be removed after taking so damn long to write it. Sex in SL is big a business..escorts and strippers a plenty. It is in fact the easiest way to make Lindens( in game money) get your avatar nekkid for some virtual punters and viola you have some cash to spend on what ya like and believe me spending lindens is one of the easiest things in the world. They seem to pass through my fingers like water. With such a broad array of shops selling anything from clothes to lawn mowers to cut your virtual grass. The thought and time some people have put into the making things is amazing. I have just started to make things on SL which is extremely fun but sorta takes over everything and suddenly you find yourself still up at 4 am going over what texture would look better on a pillow with crazy eyes and mouse hand!! Thank god our fingers don't build muscle or my index finger would be the size of my leg by now!! And on that note of sex balls and mouse hands I think I will stop my rambling for now and log back onto my addiction...there was a upgrade today after all. Ohh shiny upgrade aka crash time!
